Marine Mammal Bycatch in U.S. West Coast Groundfish Fisheries, 2002-19

This report summarizes interactions between the U.S. West Coast groundfish fishery and marine mammals, and presents estimates of fleetwide bycatch for these species based on landings data from these fisheries, as well as electronic monitoring (EM) and federal observer programs during 2002–19.
