This dataset is constructed by collecting and analyzing customer demand and consumption-related data for relational databases in Hubei Province, with the objectives of understanding customers' purchasing power and consumption preferences for relational databases, as well as the market performance of relational databases in the region. The findings can provide references for enterprises in the industry to develop sales strategies for relational databases, and enable better delivery of personalized products and services to customers.
1. Data Collection: Collect transaction order data related to the demand for relational databases from the company's customers in Hubei Province.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis work.
3. Algorithm-based Demand Analysis: Perform demand analysis on the processed data, with the demand index calculated as: P = (a1 / b1 + a2 / b2 + a3 / b3) * k. Herein, a1 refers to the minimum single-order quantity, b1 refers to the minimum single-order consumption amount; a2 refers to the maximum single-order quantity, b2 refers to the maximum single-order consumption amount; a3 refers to the average single-order quantity, b3 refers to the average single-order consumption amount. k is the consumption coefficient, which varies across different regions; the empirically set value of k for Hubei Province is 0.8.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Sort all the calculated enterprise demand indices in descending order, and assign percentage-based scores via a standardized scoring system (for example, a demand index of 5 corresponds to a score of 85, a demand index of 3 corresponds to a score of 65, and so on). Then classify customers into three categories: "High Level", "Medium Level" and "Low Level" — enterprises with scores above 85 are marked as "High Level", those with scores between 65 and 85 as "Medium Level", and those with scores below 65 as "Low Level". This helps the company better understand its customer base: communicate with High Level enterprises 1 to 2 times per month, with Medium Level enterprises 1 to 2 times per quarter, and with Low Level enterprises 1 to 2 times every six months, so as to formulate more precise production and sales strategies.
