Dancing to electronic dance music: umbrella record for two motion-capture studies (Oslo Standstill Database)

Umbrella record for Ragnhild Torvanger Solberg's two laboratory studies of people dancing to electronic dance music, recorded at the fourMs Lab, University of Oslo, in June 2014 and August 2015. It holds no data of its own: the two studies are deposited separately and each is self-contained. Together they are the primary data of three publications, and they are the only collection in this database where the task is dancing rather than standing still.The two differ in what they can support, and the difference is the reason they are separate records rather than one. The 2014 session recorded sixteen dancers with two markers each at 100 Hz, and its tracking broke: a median of fourteen of the thirty-two markers are visible in any frame, so the data supports group-level measures and no individual can be followed through it. The 2015 sessions recorded twenty-nine dancers in three groups with one head marker each at 200 Hz and two wrist accelerometers each, and tracking is close to complete.
