The aim of this study to evaluate the performance of the new Nano-MDBG assembler across communities of increasing complexities spanning zymo Mock, human gut and soil samples. This study proposes to compare results of long reads technology choice, pacbio or ONT and for ONT, the impact of read error correction outside of Nano-MDBG.
本研究旨在评估新型Nano-MDBG序列组装器在复杂度逐步升高的微生物群落样本中的性能,所涉样本涵盖Zymo Mock(Zymo模拟菌群)、人类肠道及土壤菌群样本。本研究拟对比不同长读长测序技术(long reads technology)选型的分析结果,涉及Pacific Biosciences(PacBio)与Oxford Nanopore Technologies(ONT)两类平台;针对ONT数据,本研究还将探究Nano-MDBG流程之外的读段错误校正(read error correction)步骤对分析结果的影响。
