本研究通过基因微阵列分析（microarray analysis），对比两名健康供者来源的人类骨髓基质细胞（human bone Marrow Stromal Cells, hBMSC）与完全分化脂肪细胞的基因表达谱，旨在筛选与特定脂肪细胞分泌分子相关的基因簇。本实验采用Trizol试剂提取亚汇合态细胞的总RNA。
