Key Waterbird Habitats in China' Coastal Areas

It is of great significance for coastal wetland protection to collect and sort out the important habitat data sets of waterbirds in China's coastal areas. By compiling the survey data of waterbirds in literature, bird watching websites and survey reports, 132 important waterfowl habitats along China's coast are determined by applying the international standards of Important Bird Areas, and relevant data sets are constructed. For each habitat, the data sets include longitude and latitude information, protection status, area, regional description and important waterbirds species; The data set can provide data support for government officials, managers, technicians and scientific researchers engaged in wetland protection and management.

收集整理我国沿海地区水鸟重要栖息地数据集，对于滨海湿地保护具有重要意义。本研究通过整合文献、观鸟网站及调查报告中的水鸟调查数据，依据国际重要鸟类区域（Important Bird Areas）标准，筛选确定我国沿海地区132处重要水禽栖息地，并构建了配套数据集。针对每一处栖息地，数据集涵盖经纬度信息、保护现状、面积、区域概况及重要水鸟物种信息。该数据集可为从事湿地保护与管理工作的政府人员、管理人员、技术人员及科研人员提供数据支撑。
