Brigham Young University (BYU) Herpetology Collection (Arctos)

The BYU herpetology collection houses over 40,000 fluid preserved specimens, including 36 types, and over 15,000 tissue samples. The geographic focus of the collection is the Great Basin/Intermountain West, but there are also extensive collections from Latin America, Central Africa, and the Pacific. The BYU Life Science Museum was formerly known as the Monte L. Bean Museum.BYU（杨百翰大学，Brigham Young University）两栖爬行动物学标本馆藏有逾40000件液浸标本（含36件模式标本）以及15000余件组织样本。该馆藏的核心地理覆盖区域为大盆地/山间西部（Great Basin/Intermountain West），同时亦拥有来自拉丁美洲、中非及太平洋地区的大量馆藏。BYU生命科学博物馆前身为蒙特·L·比恩博物馆（Monte L.
