Si response in root of WT and sss mutant rice

WT (cv. Nipponbare) and sss mutant Rice seedlings (21-day-old) cultured in a nutrient solution free of Si were treated with or without 1 mM silicic acid for 2 d. Total RNA was extracted from the whole root and used for RNA-seq.

将在无硅营养液中培养的21日龄野生型水稻（栽培品种日本晴，cv. Nipponbare）与sss突变体水稻幼苗，分别施加1 mM硅酸处理或不施加处理，持续2天；随后从其完整根系中提取总RNA，用于RNA测序（RNA-seq）。
