This dataset contains natural history specimen data associated with newly described genera, species and records of the family Maeridae (Crustacea: Amphipoda) in Australian waters, and includes associated information about specimen collectors and identifiers. The dataset was annotated by volunteers on the Bionomia platform, based on specimen datasets aggregated from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), and is organized in Frictionless Data Package format with a total of 9 files.
