测定了火山鳑鲏的线粒体基因组数据，并且和鳑鲏亚科的其它鱼类线粒体基因组进行了比较分析，归纳分析了鳑鲏亚科鱼类的线粒体基因组特征，此外，还重建了鳑鲏亚科鱼类的线粒体系统树，理清了鳑鲏亚科鱼类的系统发育关系。
This study determined the mitochondrial genome sequence of the volcanic bitterling, conducted comparative genomic analyses with other mitochondrial genomes of Acheilognathinae fishes, summarized and analyzed the mitochondrial genomic characteristics of this subfamily, reconstructed the mitochondrial phylogenetic tree of Acheilognathinae, and clarified the phylogenetic relationships within the subfamily.
