Data for " Green Production of Ammonia Gas and Fertilizers via Upcycling of Soiled Diapers by <i>Zophobas morio</i>"

Soiled diapers, being the third-largest single consumer item in landfills and whose plastic components are estimated to take hundreds of years to decompose, negatively impact the environment. Here, experiments reveal that <i>Zophobas morio</i> larvae (superworms) can consume, digest, and upcycle soiled diapers into ammonia gas and fertilizers.脏尿布作为垃圾填埋场中第三大单一消费品类，其塑料成分据估计需耗时数百年才能分解，对环境造成负面影响。在此，实验表明<i>Zophobas morio</i>幼虫（超级蠕虫）可摄食、消化脏尿布，并将其升级回收为氨气与肥料。
