This dataset is derived from the research study titled "Influence of preexisting color preferences on sampling and tracking behavior in bumble bees". To explore the impacts of genetic biases and novel information on foraging choices, color preference tests were conducted on 8 bumble bee colonies, where orange was paired with three other colors to create varying levels of preference intensity. The experiments incorporated rewards with different qualities (good/bad) and stabilities (stable/fluctuating). Behavioral metrics including color choices and sampling frequencies of bumble bees under various reward conditions were recorded, and this dataset contains only one file.
