Rock surface flow (RSF), derived from secondary distribution of natural precipitation on exposed surfaces of bedrock outcrops. That drives the soils with extremely limited reserves lost from surface and underground through erosion. However, it is still a challenge to quantify the impact of rock surface flow on soil and water loss in a complex geotechnical environment. To achieve this, The RSF scouring experiment were conducted on these undisturbed soil samples on simulated rock-soil structure device which features the outcrop (exposed rock surface and unexposed RSI) and RSI undisturbed soil. Driving factors include the input flow volume on rock surface (RSFfv) and the inclination of rock surface (IRS). At the same time, our research shows that the erosion of rock surface flow leads to the underground leakage of soil. Therefore, the contribution of rock surface flow to soil erosion should be included in the soil erosion prediction model in karst, as it helps to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the models. as it helps to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the models.
