ECOPICS_MX_Soil profiles at Pico de Orizaba Protected Park

<strong>ECOPICS Project : Gravimetric moisture and tension data</strong> Field campaign February 2017 to March 2018 Monitoring time: April 2017 to March 2018 Last modification : September 2022 by <strong>Beatriz E. Marín Castro</strong> Soil moisture monitoring was done according to the manuals of the Watermark sensors (<strong>W</strong>), for tension moisture. For gravimetric moisture, Decagon sensors (<strong>D</strong>) were used. Each soil moisture monitoring station (SMS) is related to the altitudinal gradient analysis and the soil data pit level. The pits, one per altitudinal level, samples were taken from different soil horizons.

Marín Castro）</strong>完成。针对张力含水率的土壤含水率监测工作，严格遵循Watermark传感器（<strong>W</strong>）的操作手册开展；重量含水率的监测则采用Decagon传感器（<strong>D</strong>）完成。每一个土壤含水率监测站（SMS）均关联至海拔梯度分析与土壤采样坑层级，每个海拔梯度对应一个采样坑，从不同土壤发生层采集样本。
