Biomechanical profiles of high-velocity, low-adjusted-load fastball pitching: analysis scripts and derived results

This package contains Python analysis scripts, derived result files, publication-ready tables, supplementary tables, and figure files supporting a secondary analysis of the OpenBiomechanics Project baseball pitching dataset. The analysis investigates performance-loading trade-offs in fastball pitching, with emphasis on high-velocity low-adjusted-load (HVLL) and high-velocity high-adjusted-load (HVHL) pitch profiles. The raw OpenBiomechanics Project data are not redistributed in this package. Users should obtain the raw metadata.csv and poi_metrics.csv files from the original OpenBiomechanics Project repository and follow its license and citation requirements. This package provides the analysis workflow, derived numerical outputs, main manuscript tables, Supplementary Tables S1-S4, publication figures, and documentation needed to support reproducibility.
