Parliamentary Poll Books of Sandwich, Kent, 1831-1868

The main aim of the project was to examine the inter-relations between politics and economics in Sandwich. The intention was to trace the voting history of each voter, and to associate any changes with external circumstances (e.g. change of occupation, change of residence, etc.) and to identify patterns of change among the voters' political preferences.本项目的核心目标是探究Sandwich地区政治与经济之间的相互关系。其意图在于追溯每位选民的投票历史，并将任何变化与外部环境（如职业变更、居住地址变更等）相关联，同时识别选民政治偏好中的变化模式。
