CircRNAs are a novel, poorly characterized class of non-coding RNAs that accumulate with age in neuronal tissues of diverse species. To characterize the role of circRNAs during ageing, we used RNA sequencing to analyse circRNA expression in Drosophila tissues (brain, thorax, gut and fat body) at different ages (day 10, 30 and 50) in wildtype (wDah) flies and long-lived insulin mutant flies (dilp 2-3,5)
环状RNA(CircRNAs)是一类新型且尚未被充分解析的非编码RNA(non-coding RNAs),可在多种物种的神经元组织中随衰老进程不断积累。为阐明环状RNA在衰老过程中的生物学功能,我们采用RNA测序技术,对野生型(wDah)果蝇及长寿命胰岛素突变型(dilp 2-3,5)果蝇在不同日龄(第10、30、50日)的多种组织(大脑、胸组织、肠道及脂肪体)中的环状RNA表达谱进行了分析。
