Analysis of genes expressed at various time points after peptide specific TCR activation in vitro. The hypothesis tested was that activation genes would be upregulated at early times points (D2, D4) while differentiation genes would be expressed at late time points (D12, D18) Overall design: Total RNA obtained from murine TRP-1 transgenic Th17 cells activated with TRP-1 peptide. RNA was collected at several time points (Day 2, 4, 7, 12, 18) after activation and compared to unactivated, naïve CD4+ T cell controls.
