HSF1 excludes CD8+ T cells from breast tumors via suppression of CCL5 [4T1 tumors]

Breast cancer cells or tumors underwent RNA-sequencing or single cell RNA-sequencing to study the role of HSF1 in tumor-immune interactions. Overall design: Human MDA-MB-231 and mouse 4T1 cells expressing either control or HSF1-directed shRNA were subjected to RNA sequencing. Tumors derived from 4T1 control or HSF1 shRNA-expressing cells were subjected to single cell RNA-sequencing.
