Skeletal muscles in fish composed of spatially well-separated namely as the red- and white muscles with different physiological functions and metabolism. To understand the underlying epigenetic regulatory mechanism of the fish skeletal muscle differentiation and growth, the genome-wide of DNA methylation profiles of the red- and white muscle in Chinese perch Siniperca chuatsi were comparatively assayed by bisulfate sequencing methods.

鱼类骨骼肌在空间上呈清晰分离状态,可分为红肌与白肌两类,二者具有截然不同的生理功能与代谢特征。为阐明鱼类骨骼肌分化与生长的潜在表观遗传调控机制,本研究采用亚硫酸氢盐测序法,对翘嘴鳜(Siniperca chuatsi)的红肌与白肌全基因组DNA甲基化谱进行了比较分析。
