Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was the most common childhood-onset neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorder. Several studies suggested that gut microbiota played an essential role in the bidirectional communication between the gut and the brain via neurotransmitter systems. Gut dysbiosis might be the link to ADHD's pathophysiology. This study aimed to identify gut microbiota profile in treatment-naive Thai children with ADHD and age- and sex-matched healthy controls as a comparative cross-sectional study.
