High-throughput whole-genome sequencing of Lactobacillus acidophilus

Lactobacillus acidophilus is a widely studied bacterium with potential probiotic applications. In this study, we sequenced and assembled the whole genome of strain LA85. High-throughput sequencing was performed using both the Illumina NovaSeq and PacBio platforms. The genome was assembled using Unicycler v0.5.1. The purpose of this study is to investigate the genomic characteristics of LA85.
