Fire Incident Boundaries

Provides a reasonable view of the spatial distribution of past large fires but is in no way complete. Due to missing perimeters (please see Use Limitations) this data should be used carefully for statistical analysis and reporting. Please contact the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection’s Fire and Resource Assessment Program for a detailed explanation of the limitations of the data. This data is updated annually in the spring with fire perimeters from the previous fire season.
