This dataset contains experimental results on the carbon sequestration capacity and barrier performance of steel slag as a landfill cover material. It includes measurements from incubation tests examining the effects of CO₂ concentration, water content, bentonite content, and pressure conditions on carbonation. Flexible-wall test data on gas permeability, diffusion coefficient, and hydraulic conductivity before and after carbonation are also provided. The data support findings that increasing compaction or bentonite content significantly reduces permeability, with post-carbonation parameters decreasing by over 20%.
