Mandatory and Significant Level Sounding Data Set. Version 1.0

This data set consists of mandatory and significant level sounding data for the UMRBPP. It contains soundings from Dodge City and Topeka, KS; Denver and Grand Junction, CO; Omaha and North Platte, NE; Aberdeen and Rapid City, SD; Riverton, WY; Bismarck, ND; and Glasgow and Great Falls, MT. The data were retrieved from NOAA/FSL for the periods 5 April to 19 April and 28 April to 5 May 1999. For the period from 21 April to 27 April the data were retrieved from FSU. The NOAA/FSL data are in a columnar ASCII format while those from FSU are in the GTS format. Please see the README file for more information.
