RNA-seq data of Malassezia furfur hyphae producing strains

By expressing different mating type alleles in the same cell, we show that Malassezia furfur can undergo hyphal development and this phenotype is associated with increased expression of key mating genes along with other genes known to be virulence factors, thus providing a possible connection between hyphal development and pathogenicity.
