Largemouth bass gut flora sequencing dataset

Four diets containing 8% cellulose, 8% low- or high methyl-esterified pectin (LMP and HMP), or 8% MMP (half LMP and half HMP) were designed for evaluate the potential mechanisms of different esterification degrees of pectin driving intestinal microbiota and their metabolites to modulate intestinal health of largemouth bass.

本研究设计了4组试验日粮，分别添加8%纤维素、8%低甲氧基果胶（low methyl-esterified pectin, LMP）、8%高甲氧基果胶（high methyl-esterified pectin, HMP）或8%混合甲氧基果胶（MMP，由等量LMP与HMP组成），旨在探究不同酯化程度的果胶通过调控肠道菌群及其代谢产物以改善大口黑鲈肠道健康的潜在作用机制。
