我们提供了一个欧洲森林风扰动数据库(FORWIND)。该数据集与提交给地球系统科学数据的论文“2000-2018年期间欧洲森林风扰动的空间显式数据库”中的数据相对应(https://www.earth-system-science-data.net/).
FORWIND包括2000-2018年期间受风干扰的欧洲80000多个空间划定区域,并以协调一致的地理矢量格式对其进行描述。
FORWIND数据集包含shapefile格式(.shp)的多边形特征记录。特征的几何形状被存储为一个形状,该形状包括一组与给定风扰动区域的边界相对应的矢量坐标。根据WGS84标准(EPSG:4326),记录以地理坐标(即纬度和经度)进行地理参考。每种干扰的基本属性都在相关表中提供,存储在.dbf文件中,包括:

We present the European Forest Wind Disturbance Database (FORWIND). This dataset corresponds to the data reported in the paper *Spatially Explicit Database of Forest Wind Disturbances Across Europe During 2000–2018* submitted to Earth System Science Data (https://www.earth-system-science-data.net/).
FORWIND includes over 80,000 spatially delineated forest wind disturbance regions across Europe between 2000 and 2018, and describes these regions in a harmonized geographic vector format.
The FORWIND dataset contains polygon feature records in Shapefile format (.shp). The geometry of each feature is stored as a shape comprising a set of vector coordinates corresponding to the boundary of a given wind disturbance area. All records are georeferenced using geographic coordinates (i.e., latitude and longitude) in compliance with the WGS84 standard (EPSG:4326). Basic attributes for each disturbance event are provided in the associated table stored in the .dbf file, including:

* Event date (EventDate)
* Storm name (StormName)
* Event type (EventType)
* Country (country)
* Affected area [hectares] (Area)
* Perimeter [unit: meter] (Perimeter)
* Damage degree [%] (damage_deg)
* Acquisition method
* Data provider (Dataprovid)
* Source (source)
Missing data is reported as -999.
