A novel strain of Bacillus thuringensis AK 47 identified as IMTECH deposit, Chandigarh, India under accession number as: MTCC 5846. This novel strain was isolated from extreme environment using an additional step of enrichment and has nine different cry genes and 7 toxin genes and shows efficacy against lepidopteran insects.

一株新型苏云金芽孢杆菌（Bacillus thuringensis）AK 47菌株，该菌株已完成保藏鉴定，保藏于印度昌迪加尔微生物技术研究所（IMTECH），保藏编号为MTCC 5846。该新型菌株通过采用额外的富集培养步骤从极端环境中分离得到，携带有9种不同的cry基因与7种毒素基因，对鳞翅目昆虫具有杀虫活性。
