AUV Sentry navigation data (PPL ASCII format), Mid-Atlantic Ridge (AT33-03, 2016)

A total of 9 AUV Sentry dives were conducted during 2016 Atlantis cruise AT33-03 to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (chief scientist Mark Kurz). Along-track navigation data was collected by AUV Sentry during these deployments. The navigation data was sampled at 10Hz and is provided here as PPL-formatted ASCII text files. Columns are date, time, vehicle name, latitude(decimal deg), longitude(decimal deg), depth (m), heading(decimal deg), pitch(decimal deg), roll(decimal deg). The data set was collected and processed as part of the project called Coupling Mantle Volatiles, Eruption Dynamics, and Tectonics on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE12-59218.

2016年，在前往中大西洋海岭（Mid-Atlantic Ridge）的亚特兰蒂斯号（Atlantis）AT33-03航次期间，共开展了9次自主水下航行器（Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, AUV）“哨兵号”（Sentry）下潜作业（首席科学家为Mark Kurz）。这些部署过程中，AUV“哨兵号”采集了沿航迹导航数据。导航数据的采样频率为10Hz，以PPL格式的ASCII文本文件形式提供于此。文件列包含日期、时间、航行器名称、纬度（十进制度）、经度（十进制度）、深度（米）、航向（十进制度）、俯仰角（十进制度）、横滚角（十进制度）。该数据集的采集与处理是“中大西洋海岭地幔挥发分、喷发动力学与构造耦合”项目的组成部分，资金由美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）OCE12-59218项目资助。
