This dataset centers on research into the impacts of sex systems (dioecy and monoecy) of Ficus plants on their population spatial genetic structure (SGS). Specifically, we compare the differences in SGS between Ficus species with distinct sex systems and 27 other plant species using the Sp statistic. Moreover, we analyze the genetic diversity of two monoecious Ficus species via microsatellite markers to reveal the mechanisms through which sex systems influence plant genetic structures.
