This project used a mouse model of permanent coronary ligation to examine whether a short-bout, low-volume HIIT regimen could improve exercise capacity and LV function after MI. We also sought to investigate the mechanisms underlying HIIT by quantifying cardiomyocyte DNA synthesis as an index of cell-cycle activity and by performing bulk RNA sequencing to profile gene expression changes associated with reduced adverse remodeling.
本研究采用永久性冠状动脉结扎小鼠模型,旨在探究短时长、低容量高强度间歇训练(High-Intensity Interval Training,HIIT)能否改善心肌梗死(Myocardial Infarction,MI)后小鼠的运动能力与左心室(Left Ventricular,LV)功能。本研究同时通过两种方式解析高强度间歇训练的潜在作用机制:一是量化心肌细胞DNA合成以作为细胞周期活性的评价指标,二是开展批量RNA测序(bulk RNA sequencing)以分析与减轻不良重构相关的基因表达变化。
