Study Description
This study sought to implement Connect to Protect (C2P), a community mobilization intervention intended to develop coalitions to plan for and bring about structural changes to reduce HIV incidence and prevalence among youth in targeted communities. A key aspect of the C2P approach was planning for sustainability beyond the ATN investment. The evaluation of C2P included both process evaluation of the mobilization efforts and outcome evaluation of the changes in individual risk factors associated with HIV transmission and acquisition. The study included extant data collection and mapping, collection of epidemiological HIV/STI data as well as HIV testing data, and key informant interviews. Individuals engaged in C2P coalitions and community mobilization efforts; Venue Tracking and Brief Venue Interview participants, and HIV-risk related youth ages 12 to 24

研究概况
本研究旨在推行护联行动（Connect to Protect，C2P）——一项旨在组建联盟、开展规划并推动结构性变革的社区动员干预项目，以降低目标社区内青年人群的人类免疫缺陷病毒（Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV）新发感染率与现患率。C2P模式的核心环节之一，是规划如何在ATN资助之外维持项目可持续性。
本次C2P评估涵盖两部分内容：一是对社区动员工作的过程评估，二是对与HIV传播、感染相关的个体风险因素变化的结局评估。
本研究涵盖现有数据收集与测绘、HIV/性传播感染（Sexually Transmitted Infection, STI）流行病学数据及HIV检测数据的采集，以及关键知情人访谈。
研究对象包括参与C2P联盟及社区动员工作的人员、场所追踪与简短场所访谈（Venue Tracking and Brief Venue Interview）参与者，以及年龄介于12至24岁的HIV感染风险青年群体。
