Microbiome of two adult tick species and their laboratory-reared offspring shows intra- and inter-species differences

We characterized the gut microbiome profile of Rhipicephalus linnaei and Haemaphysalis leachi in adult female ticks collected from dogs from Nigeria and their larvae that were reared in laboratory conditions. We described the relative abundance and richness of microbial communities found and the transmission of bacteria in both tick species.

本研究对采自尼日利亚犬只的成年雌蜱（林氏扇头蜱*Rhipicephalus linnaei*、利奇血蜱*Haemaphysalis leachi*）及其实验室繁育的幼虫的肠道微生物组谱（gut microbiome profile）进行了表征，并描述了所检出微生物群落的相对丰度与丰富度，以及两种蜱类的细菌传播情况。
