This project involved sequencing the transcriptome of various reproductive and non-reproductive tissues of the southern grass skink (Pseudemoia entrecasteauxii). Transcriptomes of these data were assembled de-novo, and these assemblies will be of great interest to people interested in both the genes important for pregnancy in this species but also all studies interested in lizard genetics and evolution.

本项目针对南部草石龙子（Pseudemoia entrecasteauxii）的各类生殖与非生殖组织的转录组（transcriptome）进行了测序。研究团队采用从头组装（de-novo）策略，对本次测序获得的转录组数据完成了组装。该转录组组装成果不仅对聚焦该物种妊娠相关关键基因的研究人员极具参考意义，同时也将为所有蜥蜴遗传学及进化相关研究提供重要的参考资源。
