Whole-genome resequencing of Anqing Six-end-white pig

Identification of genomic signatures of selection that help reveal genetic mechanisms underlying traits in domesticated pigs is of importance. Anqing Six-end-white pig, a representative of the native breeds in China, has many distinguishing phenotypic characteristics. However, the genetics basis of the characteristics in ASP, particularly at the genomic level, remains largely unknown. Whole-genome sequencing of 20 Anqing Six-end-white pigs to identify the genomic signatures of selection of the Anqing Six-end-white pig.

鉴定可揭示家猪性状背后遗传机制的基因组选择信号，具有重要研究意义。安庆六白猪（Anqing Six-end-white pig）作为中国地方品种的典型代表，具备诸多独特的表型性状。然而，安庆六白猪这些性状的遗传基础，尤其是基因组层面的遗传基础，目前仍尚未明确。本研究对20头安庆六白猪开展全基因组测序，以鉴定该品种的基因组选择信号。
