Global Database of Land Distribution and Inequality (LINEQ)

LINEQ is a global dataset that documents both global and regional patterns of land inequality. It also provides a strong foundation for examining broader questions related to the distribution of farms and farmland. Covering the period from 1929 to 2023 and encompassing 177 countries and territories, LINEQ relies primarily on agricultural census data. Where available, nationally representative household and agricultural surveys are used to expand coverage and further enrich regional and global analyses.LINEQ是一款全球性数据集，既记录了土地不平等现象的全球与区域分布格局，也为探讨与农场及农地分配相关的更广泛研究议题提供了坚实的学术支撑。该数据集的时间跨度为1929年至2023年，覆盖全球177个国家和地区，数据主体主要来源于农业普查资料；在相关资料可获取的前提下，还会采用具有全国代表性的住户与农业调查数据，以拓展数据覆盖范围，并进一步丰富区域及全球层面的分析工作。
