Bloodstream infection in leukemia

We examine the role of the gastrointestinal lymphatic tissue (GALT) in the formation of bloodstream infections in leukemia Leukemia was induced in mice using xenograft. Five weeks later the small intestine was removed and the GALT cells were extracted (intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) and lamina propria (LP) cells). RNA was extracted from the cells and sequenced on a HiSeq 4000 machine.

本研究旨在探讨胃肠道淋巴组织（gastrointestinal lymphatic tissue，GALT）在白血病小鼠血流感染发生中的作用。研究通过异种移植方法构建白血病小鼠模型，造模五周后摘取小鼠小肠，提取其中的胃肠道淋巴组织细胞，包括上皮内淋巴细胞（intraepithelial lymphocytes，IEL）与固有层（lamina propria，LP）细胞。从上述细胞中提取总RNA，采用HiSeq 4000测序平台完成转录组测序。
