p-Phenoxyphenol (PhOP) and p-pentyloxyphenol (PeOP) have been reported to be estrogenic in vitro. But their in vivo estrogenic activities have rarely been of concern. In this study, we performed an immature mouse uterotrophic assay and next-generation transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) to study the estrogenicity of PhOP and PeOP, as well as E2, in mice.

对-苯氧基苯酚(p-Phenoxyphenol,PhOP)与对-戊氧基苯酚(p-pentyloxyphenol,PeOP)的体外类雌激素活性已有报道,但二者的体内雌激素活性却极少受到关注。本研究通过未成熟小鼠子宫增重试验及高通量转录组测序(RNA-seq)技术,探究了PhOP、PeOP以及雌二醇(E2)在小鼠体内的雌激素活性。
