This project investigates whether modulation of the gut microbiome influences central and enteric nervous system pathology in a mouse model of CLN2 disease (Tpp1R207X/R207X). Fecal samples were collected from wild-type and CLN2 mice that remained untreated or were given a VNAM broad-spectrum antibiotic cocktail. The study includes 16S rRNA gene sequencing of fecal microbiota at multiple timepoints to characterize microbial diversity and composition changes following VNAM treatment. Raw sequencing data are deposited for public access.
