In this study, we report that MaASR expression was induced by drought stress and MaASR overexpression in Arabidopsis strongly enhanced drought stress tolerance. Chromatin immunoprecipitation-based sequencing (ChIP-seq) analysis revealed that MaASR participates in regulating photosynthesis, respiration, carbohydrate and phytohormone metabolism and signal transduction to confer plants with enhanced drought stress tolerance
本研究表明,MaASR的表达受干旱胁迫诱导,且在拟南芥中过表达MaASR可显著增强植株的干旱胁迫耐受性。基于染色质免疫共沉淀测序(Chromatin immunoprecipitation-based sequencing, ChIP-seq)的分析结果显示,MaASR通过参与调控光合作用、呼吸作用、碳水化合物与植物激素代谢及信号转导通路,赋予植物更强的干旱胁迫耐受性。
