Dataset for "Latitudinal distribution of thermospheric density: Interplay of thermal expansion and circulation"

This dataset contains DE2 temperature and CHAMP mass density observation data normalized to an altitude of 400 km, as well as TIEGCM model simulation data for comparison with the observations. This dataset can be read through Matlab, and the plotting program is also included in the folder. The dataset is mainly used to investigate the mechanisms of the latitudinal variation of the thermospheric total mass density.

本数据集包含归一化至400公里高度的DE2温度与CHAMP质量密度观测数据，以及用于与观测数据对比的TIEGCM模式模拟数据。该数据集可通过Matlab读取，文件夹中亦附带绘图程序。本数据集主要用于探究热层总质量密度纬度变化的物理机制。
