Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty for acute corneal hydrops: a case report

ABSTRACT Here, we describe the result of a Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty for acute corneal hydrops in a 45-year-old female with keratoconus, who presented with severe visual loss in her OS. The patient’s best-corrected visual acuity was 20/80 in the right eye and hand motion in the OS. Slit-lamp examination revealed an extensive tear of the Descemet’s membrane and stromal corneal edema in the OS. We opted for Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty. Twelve months postoperatively, the patient had a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/50 in the OS.摘要 本文报告1例合并圆锥角膜（keratoconus）的45岁女性患者，因左眼（OS）出现严重视力下降，罹患急性角膜水肿（acute corneal hydrops）并接受后弹力膜内皮角膜移植术（Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty）的治疗结果。患者右眼最佳矫正视力为20/80，左眼仅存手动视力。裂隙灯检查显示左眼后弹力膜大范围撕裂及角膜基质水肿。我们为其实施了后弹力膜内皮角膜移植术。术后12个月随访，患者左眼最佳矫正视力提升至20/50。
