Fishery Patterns Mapping around Misali Island

In collaboration with communities and local officials, WCS Tanzania collected information on the fishing grounds around Misali Island. The dataset contains information about the name of the fishing ground, the perceived level of productivity, the species caught at those fishing grounds, and the type of gear used and by which communities. Data have been digitized into shapefiles.本数据集由国际野生生物保护学会（Wildlife Conservation Society, WCS）坦桑尼亚分支与当地社区及地方官员协作，针对米萨利岛周边渔场开展信息采集工作。数据集包含渔场名称、主观评估的生产力水平、对应渔场的捕获物种、所使用的渔具类型及作业社区等相关信息，所有数据已被数字化为形状文件（shapefiles）。
