RAD sequence-based phylogeny of the periodical cicadas Magicicada. Magicicada

To reveal the phylogenetic relationships among broods of the periodical cicadas of the genus Magicicada, restriction-site associated DNA (RAD) sequences data were obtained for 64 adult specimens. Total genomic DNA of each individual was digested with SbfI, and 101-bp fragments including 5-bp barcodes for identification of individuals were sequenced by Illumina HiSeq2000 sequencer.

为揭示周期蝉属（Magicicada）各群系的系统发育关系，本研究针对64头成虫标本获取了限制性酶切位点相关DNA（restriction-site associated DNA, RAD）测序数据。所有单一个体的总基因组DNA均经SbfI限制性内切酶酶切，随后通过Illumina HiSeq2000测序仪对包含用于个体识别的5碱基对分子标签的101碱基对片段进行测序。
