GSEA was used to analyse the differentially expressed cortical genes, as gene sets, for enrichment of association signal in three different BP GWASs (a German sample, the Norwegian TOP sample and the British WTCCC BP sample [20], [41], [42]), three SCZ GWASs (the Norwegian TOP sample, the German part of a combined German-Dutch SCZ GWAS and a Danish sample [19], [43], [44]) and six non-psychiatric phenotypes (from WTCCC; CD: Crohn's disease, CHD: coronary heart disease, HT: hypertension, RA: rheumatoid arthritis, T1D: type 1 diabetes and T2D: type 2 diabetes, [42]). The analysis was based on extraction of modified Sidak's minimum P-values [45], as implemented in LDsnpR. FDR q-value*: One FMCx gene was not represented in the data set.**: Two FMCx genes were not represented in the data set.

本研究采用基因集富集分析(Gene Set Enrichment Analysis, GSEA),以差异表达的皮层基因为基因集,分别针对3项双相障碍(Bipolar Disorder, BP)全基因组关联研究(Genome-Wide Association Study, GWAS)队列(德国队列、挪威TOP队列与英国WTCCC BP队列[20,41,42])、3项精神分裂症(Schizophrenia, SCZ)GWAS队列(挪威TOP队列、德荷联合SCZ GWAS的德国亚队列以及丹麦队列[19,43,44]),以及6项源自WTCCC的非精神疾病表型(克罗恩病(Crohn's disease, CD)、冠心病(coronary heart disease, CHD)、高血压(hypertension, HT)、类风湿关节炎(rheumatoid arthritis, RA)、1型糖尿病(type 1 diabetes, T1D)与2型糖尿病(type 2 diabetes, T2D)[42])开展关联信号富集分析。本次分析基于LDsnpR工具实现的校正型Sidak最小P值提取方法[45]。*FDR q值:本数据集中未包含1个FMCx基因。**:本数据集中未包含2个FMCx基因。
