This 1-year long (Eulerian) twin-experiment (1997) has been performed with NEMO (OCE + SI3) version 4.2.2 at 12th of a degree of horizontal resolution and 75 levels for the 3D ocean. One experiment uses the BBM brittle rheology and the other the default aEVP viscous-plastic one. These simulations are forced with the 1-hourly near-surface atmospheric state of the ERA5 reanalysis (ECMWF). Lateral boundary conditions of the computational domain (northern North Atlantic + Arctic ocean) use monthly-averaged data of the GLORYS2v4 ocean reanalysis (CMEMS).  See Brodeau et al 2024 (https://doi.org/10.5194/gmd-17-6051-2024) for more details about the implementation of the BBM rheology in the sea ice model SI3. The tar file gathers monthly netcdf files that contains 3-hourly fields of sea-ice parameters, the headers are reproduced in the user manual for a complete description.

本实验为1997年开展的为期1年的欧拉型双对比试验,采用NEMO(OCE+SI3)4.2.2版本模型,设置1/12度的水平分辨率,三维海洋垂直分层共75层。其中一组试验采用BBM脆性流变方案,另一组则采用默认的aEVP黏塑性流变方案。本模拟的强迫场采用欧洲中期天气预报中心(ECMWF)提供的ERA5再分析资料的逐小时近地表大气状态数据。计算区域(北大西洋北部与北冰洋)的侧边界条件采用哥白尼海洋环境监测服务中心(CMEMS)的GLORYS2v4海洋再分析资料的月平均数据。 关于海冰模型SI3中BBM流变方案的具体实现细节,可参考Brodeau等人2024年发表的研究成果(https://doi.org/10.5194/gmd-17-6051-2024)。 本tar压缩包包含若干月均NetCDF(网络通用数据格式)文件,其中存储了海冰参数的逐3小时场数据;完整的变量与场的说明可参见用户手册中收录的文件表头。
