<b>Abstract</b><br/><p>Scripts and metadata associated with publication Evidence for ancient selective sweeps followed by differentiation among three species of <em>Sphyrapicus</em> sapsuckers. Scripts detail the steps taken to process, align, and QC raw WGS reads, calculate differentiation statistics, and generate figures (maps, PCAs, Manhattan plots, scatter plots, phylogenetic trees, Genotype x Individual plots). Metadata for samples used in the analyses includes sample IDs, museum voucher IDs (where applicable), species, collection date and location, and sample sex. </p>

<b>摘要</b><br/><p>本数据集配套于已发表论文《三种吸汁啄木鸟属（Sphyrapicus）物种经历古老选择性清除后的分化证据》，包含相关分析脚本与样本元数据。该脚本详细阐述了原始全基因组测序（Whole Genome Sequencing, WGS）读段的处理、比对与质量控制（Quality Control, QC）流程，分化统计量的计算方法，以及各类可视化图表的生成步骤，涵盖地图、主成分分析（Principal Component Analysis, PCA）图、曼哈顿图、散点图、系统发育树及基因型-个体关联图。本次分析所用样本的元数据包括样本编号、博物馆凭证编号（如适用）、物种信息、采集日期与采集地点，以及样本性别。</p>
