Votive inscription dedicated to Pafian Aphrodite

This stone with an inscription was found in secondary use as a building material but it may originally come from the sanctuary of Aphrodite at Palaipafos. The inscription says: To Pafian Aphrodite, Metro who is also known as Sotion and Gaius Julius Ermogenes (dedicated the statue or image) of their son Philip to honour him.该带铭文的石材被发现时系二次用作建筑材料，但其最初或源自旧帕福斯（Palaipafos）的阿佛洛狄忒（Aphrodite）圣所。铭文内容为：为纪念其子腓力（Philip），梅特罗（又名索提翁，Sotion）与盖乌斯·尤利乌斯·厄莫格涅斯（Gaius Julius Ermogenes）谨以其子腓力之雕像或肖像，敬献给帕福斯的阿佛洛狄忒。
