Average pre-berthing time at J. L. Nehru Port in India FY 2001-2023

In the financial year 2023, the average time before a cargo ship was berthed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port in the Indian state of Maharashtra was about 1.1 days. There was a slight increase of performance in the pre-berthing time in comparison to the previous year. The port sector of the South Asian country handled over 1.4 billion metric tons of cargo in 2023. A major portion of this cargo was handled by the major ports.
